The growth of the electric vehicle industry has increased the demand for new technological developments. The fourth industrial revolution's hottest trends include the Digital Twin (DT). It enables the representation of physical assets under diverse operating situations in a low-cost, risk-free setting.DT’s are used in many different fields and one of the perspective applications of such technology is the automotive industry. Digital twins are made possible because cars are already fitted with telemetry sensors, but refining the technology will become more important as more autonomous vehicles hit the road.
