Case Study for Parker Hannifin
Our client, Parker Hannifin Pneumatics, was looking for a technology partner to develop an advanced Machine I/O platform, to help promote their Industry 4.0 automation initiatives. The pandemic-induced imperative of migrating conventional factory setups to digital, engineering-driven, smart manufacturing facilities has elevated the need for industrial automation products. I/O technologies, as key facilitators for factory digitalization, required advancements for greater configurability, remote operability, and programming flexibility for automation.
LTTS’ multifunctional engineering expertise across mechanical design, control systems, and embedded and windows application software, combined with turnkey product engineering capabilities, made it an ideal choice for the role of Product Engineers in the development of PCH Network Portal, the Machine I/O platform
Developing and launching a revolutionary Machine I/O Platform
As a first step, we are leveraging in-house infrastructure capabilities of our Think Design Studio to develop a product concept design and utilized our partner ecosystem to accelerate prototype development
We are following a modular and scalable design approach to allow required agility for future expansion of a rapidly evolving industrial automation landscape. An easy to navigate UI/UX provides simplified customer experience to product configurability and diagnostics/prognostics.
Verification and validation of the prototype platform in our pre-compliance testing labs and leveraged our partner ecosystem for product certification.
