This paper outlines the development of tool which digitalizes 2- dimensional Engineering Drawings using image processing and machine learning modules. From business perspective, it could be beneficial to a wide range of industries. Using the AI-assistive tool a significant reduction in the overall effort and improvement in overall accuracy is attained.
